As a blogger, writing is a huge part of what I do. But at times, it can be what KEEPS me from doing what I need to do (did somebody say writer’s block?) Writing is an interesting beast. For me it can’t be done just anywhere at any time. Some writers have the ability to sit in a crowded coffeehouse and let their creativity flow, but with my ADD brain, it’s rare that I’m able to focus on one thing for more than 5 minutes in a quiet room, so the loud conversations and distracting passersby make it nearly impossible.
Hence, when I was planning my trip to New York, I was looking for a hotel that would be an enchanting hideaway in the city that never sleeps and a sacred place to retreat to and get some work done after long days of exploring. I couldn’t have picked a better, more hospitable headquarters for my trip than the Hotel Elysee and Library Hotel of the Library Hotel Collection.
Deluxe continental breakfast buffets every morning, wine & cheese receptions every evening, complimentary wifi, and passes to the New York Sports Club proved hospitality is the Library Hotel’s number one priority and helped me to be productive and refreshed for my jam packed trip!
I can’t wait to stay again and I hope you consider a stay at the Library Hotel collection the next time you’re in New York!
