Today I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious lunch at Knuckle and Claw and I have a small confession to make: I’ve never had a lobster roll before today! I know, apparently that’s really weird. But now that I’ve had one, especially from Knuckle and Claw, I’m hooked. The lemon-butter sauce and secret seasoning had me salivating! I’m sacrilegious and ordered mine on a gluten free roll (thanks digestive issues!), but the bun was so light and buttery, I didn’t even miss the gluten! Honestly! Knuckle and Claw is super special because all their fish and shellfish were flown in from Portland, Maine, and land in the restaurant less than 48 hours after being caught. You can really taste the quality and freshness.
Also, tomorrow just so happens to be National Clam Chowder Day (there’s a day for everything now), so we had to try the clam chowder, which also didn’t disappoint! If you live in LA and/or find yourself in the Silverlake Area, Knuckle and Claw is DEFINITELY worth a try!
