Today I tried my hand (…er, feet?) at my first ever indoor cycling class at Flywheel, and it was INTENSE. Thanks to my Clean Cleanse, I’m currently still fighting caffeine withdrawals & overall detoxing in the form of headaches, lethargy & lots and lots of “digestive activity” (FUN!), so I wouldn’t say I was exactly feeling motivated. Every pedal felt like trudging through jello, and breathing felt like I was on top of Mount Everest. But thanks to the fun pump up jams, the teacher’s high energy and suggested target resistance levels/RPM’s, I was able to kick a little bit of ass and see my name creep up on the TorqBoard – the large display that showed how I was performing compared to the rest of the class. Super motivating for those with a competitive spirit like myself!
After class, I gave myself a little rinse off and used the super easy Vaseline “Spray & Go” lotion to keep my skin moisturized for the rest of my busy day. I don’t know about you, but I often avoid lotions because of how long it takes to slather on my entire body. I know I should moisturize, but I just somehow never really do. (Except my hands and feet. I can’t STAND having dry hands or feet!!!) What I love about the Vaseline spray lotion is that it spreads easily and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling instantly soft – not sticky or greasy.
Try it out for yourself and let me know what you think in the comments below!
