My life has been quite a whirlwind lately. Between getting married, working full time, and finding out we were unexpectedly pregnant a week after we got home from our honeymoon (woohoo!), I haven’t been able to post on my blog and Instagram as much as I’d like.
Not to mention moving into and decorating our first home together, and adjusting to married life, which has been AWESOME, but also requires a lot of time and attention.
Thankfully, Apt2B made our lives so incredibly easy, amidst it all. A couple weeks before our wedding, we placed an order through Apt2B for our living room furniture. It was super fun browsing through their website.
The vibe we were going for was mid-century-modern with tropical/beach bungalow vibes. Because we can walk to the beach in 5 minutes from our apartment and Luke surfs every day, it only made sense to select an ocean-colored sofa and hang his surfboards up on the wall – the perfect artful storage solution for our cozy home.
We loved the Scott Reversible Chaise Sofa in Chicago Blue and basically built our living room around this epic statement piece. Our living room layout is pretty square, so the reversible chaise works for us and gives us the variety and freedom we were looking for, in case I ever get in a “let’s move all the furniture around on a Sunday afternoon” mood.
I made a little mock up of with screenshots of all the furniture to see how it would look together. Visualizing it before making the commitment was super helpful, because buying furniture online can be kind of scary. It’s a big commitment, and a big hassle if you end up not liking it. Luckily, Apt2B offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee at the time of delivery, so if the furniture doesn’t fit or simply wasn’t what you were hoping for, you can send it back with their delivery team at no extra charge.
This exercise ball is not from Apt2B, but I love bouncing on it. For all the pregnant ladies, it really helps open your hips, strengthen your back, and during labor, it may even coax baby into a better position! Highly recommend this one from Amazon. I also love that it just so happens to match our teal color scheme 🙂
Although our apartment’s not completely “finished” yet (will it ever be?), check out our adorable living room and let me know what you think in the comments. Do you love it? Would you ever commit to a bold-colored sofa?
